Contact Clear Invoice support on Telegram for product questions, bug reports and help with exports or recognition.
Include the extension version, document template, export format and a short description of what happened. Do not send real invoices, banking details, tax identifiers, signatures or other private document information.
Quick help
Draft did not appear
Make sure Chrome extension storage is allowed, then reopen the extension from its toolbar icon.
Export was blocked
Allow downloads for Chrome, retry the export, and check whether security software intercepted the file.
Recognition failed
Check the connection and use a clear PNG, JPEG or WebP image under 2 MB. Recognition must be configured in the installed build.
Layout looks different
Use a current version of Chrome. Word and Excel retain editable structure but omit decorative background images.
Installation
- Install Clear Invoice from its Chrome Web Store listing.
- Pin the extension from Chrome’s Extensions menu if desired.
- Select the Clear Invoice toolbar icon to open the side panel.
- Use the expand control for a full-page editor.
Document recognition
Recognition accepts PNG, JPEG, WebP, TXT, CSV and JSON. Select the business, customer or items region, provide the source, choose “Recognize document,” review the preview and apply it. Applying recognition replaces the selected region with recognized non-empty fields.
PDF, Word and Excel
PDF is intended for sharing and printing. DOCX keeps content editable in Word. XLSX uses structured cells and formulas where supported. Decorative background images are omitted from Office formats while document colors and structure are retained.
Privacy and deletion
Documents are saved locally in extension storage. To remove local data, clear the extension’s storage through Chrome or uninstall the extension. Read the privacy policy for analytics and recognition details.
